Speedy...A most welcome after work run...10,000 meters plus trying to emulate race conditions but without the race day adrenaline...ran an out and back along the scenic road to the Merkle fork in the path...Conditions changed quite a bit during the run from mostly cloudy and cool to filtered sun and finally almost total sun with a spike in the temperature...no one else around today...Wildlife: got pretty close to a small herd of deer who scampered away...heard some geese but didn't see any...startled a couple of ducks into flight and spotted a couple of big ol' osprey who seemed to be fishing and one of them came in for a landing in a nest...Random Notes: Couldn't get many though.ts going save for how much fun it was to be running...Went over the 300 mile mark for 2014...Recovery: A Bud Light Tall Boy...1001c...felt good...
