sun and unseasonably chilled...breezy...an early dismissal day...pre-race trail hike...kept it casual...imagined plans for completing 50 mile goal...the costumed warriors were back in the campgrounds in big numbers...bundled up and broke a sweat...large tree down and blocking yellow trail in one section...trail mostly dry despite recent rains..420c...felt good...
