Father's Day Long Run...Another visit to the Indian Head Rail Trail pays off nicely with a sunshine splashed sky and my longest run since Icy 8 back in early February...Started a bit sluggish but found a nice groove and ran some sub 10-minute miles for a long stretch...Weather at start was a cool 60 degrees but warmed up to 73 at the finish; humidity was a non-factor...Plenty of cyclists on the trail today; only two other runners...Wildlife: a few deer munching on some tall grass...fishermen...two diamondback turtles; one large one small; a few turkey birds that caught the attention of a few cyclists who were watching them up close...Spoke to a cyclist at the finish when she asked how far I ran...she was at 53 miles and going back out for another out/back! Random Notes: I want to run the entire length of the I.H. Rail Trail this summer; may have to do it by the end of June - looks like some sections of trail will be closed in starting in July...Recovery: Miller Lite...Ten Miler Count: 20 out of 50 for 2014...#RWRChallenge Day 21...2587c...felt good...
