Running Post Template
Conditions:
overcast with light rain for about half the run…cool temp range start at 62 degrees finish at 67…
The Run:
Stuck mostly to road surface to avoid mud slow down…ran the scenic road over to merkle…up to fenno road and then down to nottingham…back to merkle entrance and ran to st. thomas church road trail entrance…took the trail to the sky blue marker and back to the road…last five miles took me back to merkle and back to base finishing up the orange trail hill and down the camp hill…
Clothes became water logged and had to constantly pull up my drooping shorts…no real aches to mention…a little chafing
Wildlife:
Saw a tiny turtle crossing the road early in the run…deer everywhere too numerous to count…saw a hedge hog duck for cover…
Random Notes:
Large camp group occupying the grounds at start…not a great day to run but running is fun!
Recovery:
