Went out behind Eric, Marc, and David (last name unknown). Eric had the lead after the first mile but gave it up to David after the turn around. I tried to encourage Egad to "reel him in" but today was not the day. With a half mile to go, I made my move and overtook David just before the downhill finish. It was a fun race hanging with a group for the first half and competing at the finish. I'm happy with this after Boston. Don't know what my heart rate was doing at Boston or if my Garmin accurately reported it, but it was fine today.

Congrats on defending your title with a faster time and after a very taxing event on Monday both physically and emotionally.

Thanks, Eric. It was fun. I would have preferred to follow you past the leader and then have you outsprint me to the finish. That will have to wait until next year or later this year.
