Official time was 2:23:08, or 7:09 pace. Can't connect my Garmin (as usual) but here are the splits: 6:55, 6:52, 6:49, 6:56, 6:53, 6:52, 6:56, 6:57, 6:59, 6:57, 6:56, 6:56, 7:00, 7:01, 7:12, 7:23, 7:19, 7:34, 7:27, 7:23. The last quarter mile was a 7:25 pace according to my watch, but I failed to stop my Garmin for several seconds (maybe even 7) and I finished with some loud bursts and a mild kick, so I was probably closer to 7:00 for that.

Weather was fine -- sunny, no real wind, and stayed comfortable with three layers up top. Sure was cold going to Steve's car afterward, but boy was I lucky when I got there. With the sun, it had to be 80 degrees or more in the car, and I put my dry clothes on the hot dash as I got out of my wet clothes. Even with nothing on, I was warming up. Putting on warm, dry clothes, and a hot turtleneck had me making sounds of ecstacy. Getting some pizza and warm soup at the Ashworth was good, but it could not match the highlight of the day in Steve's car.

I'm glad someone is having a magical, wonderful time in my car. Great job Greg. That was fun

Egad

That type of fun has happened in Steve's car in more than a decade. It's nice to reminisce though. Great job Greg and very consistent! Way to hang on. I sure wish that 20 was the marathon distance.

I hate to think of what this would have looked like if I had another 6 to run. Ugh!

So, Egad, what do you know about past events in Steve's car?

And, Steve, has it been that long?

The Sentra is not the vehicle that has stories to tell. Now, the Subaru hatchback I had in college? That is a different story. It's also when I stayed up past 10pm.
