Met the winner of the race (Mick) beforehand and we warmed up together. He did Sugarloaf in 3:03 (his first marathon) to qualify for Boston. He's running the Seacoast Half in a couple weeks. His last half was 1:28. He's going for 1:22 this time around. He trains based on heart rate. His current mileage is 75-80 per week.
