First injury sustained in 4.5 years of running. No idea how long I'll take to heal, but I'll rest as long as it takes. Using ice & compression first 48 hours and longer if needed. Will do gentle walks, then recovery runs as soon as I can without pain - not yet. Biggest worry is Boston readiness. Hampton half will be a good test if I heal fast, but I'll drop out right away if the hamstring starts to hurt. Can't afford to re-injure or aggravate it.
