I decided to try a 5 miler, since I'd been doing 2.5 with no difficulty 3 times a week, and had not run since Christmas day with a new low RHR. At 2.5 miles, my body began to complain a bit and I was getting tired, but after another half mile I felt like I got my second wind and finished strong. I know better, but I'd like to go out and do it again. Austin Capitol 10k, here I come! :)
