Thank goodness no bonked long run. Dropped a waterbottle at the corner of Engler and Audubon so that was nice to be able to get some hydration in. Also got water at miller park, lake riley, and miller again on the way back. I dont know what really got into me on the 2 and 3 MP portions as the pace was really hot there...gonna need to get that dialed in before October. I didn't take any gels during this run, but I did have a banana, some coffee, and half a bagel before the run, then I slammed proabably half a water bottle at the corner at 10 miles. MP 3 was a little tough especially the last mile...I was kind of running in circles so I could finish by the water fountain and then I had to go to the bathroom too. I was pretty much spent. Running home from there wasn't awful but definitely didn't feel amazing either. Either way, just happy I got this done. I think my time when I'm "winding up" gets later and later which means I'm getting into some sort of marathon fitness. I need just a few more weeks then I can grind this thing out.
