Wow intense race today, very very windy as well. Gave my new victories their first run and they seem nice, the sole rode up alot so i gotta check that out. anyways for the race.
Weather today was also garbage, cloudy and windy as ever, never seen such crazy wind in a race before!!!
Mike was bothered today by some illness and his quad once again, ran a decent leg and stayed copetitive was in about 6th place?
I got the baton cleanly and drafted behind some marroon guy and eventually passeed him up about 300 meters in, ran the first lap in a 59 which was crazy. As i hit the massive wind barrier again about 500 meters in, i slowed down A TON. Came through in the last 200 not too far behind wayzata as i handed off to tyler.
he ran great kept us competive, yet eddie sealed the deal with this 2 flat, got us into 4th which was insane!!
felt really sore and tired after this, definately some lessons learned from this.
