Notes
Definately must say this is one of the toughest races I have ever ran! Felt like crap for the past two days by a presumed swine flu. Then came to school running a fever all day only to race!
Got to the race already with a sore throat so that was no good at all! Warmed up blah and all, so whatever. Got to the starting line already with chills, decided screw it, lined up then got called off. Foot was apparently on the line! Gun went off and clayton was hauling, probably not so smart on his part at all. Also brad dana was up with me too? Interesting as well. Felt like i was pushiing myself pretty hard through this whole race, my lungs were searing with a burning feeling but I just thought carry on. EP was sure tearing away with this as they had like 1 thru 4. Running on teh rocks and pavement was not nice with the matumbos at all. I think i could of been a little faster If I didnt wear them!! Anyways, hit the hill the first time with cole from burnsville, tried keeping up with him, then carried back down. By the far baseball field the second time, jan was catching up with me along with oc and sean. Kicked it in a little there, and back up the hill again. As I was going down I tried picking up the pace, got back a few guys, then as I got to the final stretch, boeser from burnsville and mohamed from ep both got me at the end. Went thru the finish line and my throat was BURNING!!!! At least I wasnt like paul and he blacked out, i feel for him...
Anyways, main focus now is to get healthy and compete well at sections!!!
