Notes

the homecoming race! great to see alot of the friends and family (graduates, chaska xc, chan xc). Lovin it!

As for the race, this was really the big time today, ran against alot of great teams that are legit D1 (duke, baylor, iowa state, boise state, etc).

Pretty much tried to maintain wherever i was within the pack and go from there. Took it out reluctatnly, i think i could of gone out a little better, just stayed by stainiger the whole time. Eventually mrod caught up to me, and we kept it pretty even the whole race. really muddy out there too, think i could of been about 10 seconds faster on a dry course. I seemed to pass alot of people on the hills despite how much i would die when i crested, need to work on stuff like that somehow. Anyways, stainiger passed me up with about 800 to go, me and mike pretty much duked it out up till the finish, i tried to drop it on him and he left me right there!

Great learning experience in this race though...
