Chained area, left side, then toward swamp and back, then hill on left side to swamp (yuck) and back. dions. Nice snowshoeing. Most areas had base, some fairly fresh snowmachine or sled dogs. Not sure if main road had been groomed or if that's just snowmachine tread tracks. In fresh snow, it was mostly hiking hard but on way back could run some of it - trying hard, like a fartlek rather than just shuffling. 'Tis nice to have feet that don't hurt after podiatrist shaved those thingies off forefeet.
