This race was at Wendover, England (an hour northwest of London). Steepest hill I've ever tried to run! I was told before the race that no one has ever ran the whole thing, and I rolled my eyes. Then I found myself walking three quarters of the way up. Standing up, I could reach out and touch the grass of the hill in front of me. Someone had dug foot holds in the side of the hill to help scramble up. Extremely different from any XC, road, or trail race I've ever run, but super fun and exciting!
