Legs felt tired during the race from a combination of things. I think my legs feel good considering 95 miles last week, but I could definitely feel the high mileage during the last part of the 5k. Also, I stood around in the sun chasing bees for 8 hours today, so I was pretty wiped out from that. Pacing was also weird running in the dark. Running in the dark, I felt like I was going a lot faster than I actually was. I was using this race as a sort of tune-up slash check-in for the half marathon next week. I hope my legs feel better next week.
