Well I didn’t decide that I was actually going to race this until I was on the starting line. Nichole convinced me to come and help pace her. Then on the start line I decided that I was confident enough in my hip to put the throttle down just a little bit. I had some much fun. It has been too long since I’ve been able to let loose a bit like that and feel good AND have fun. I ended up winning. Not a bad time either considering how little and inconsistent my running has been the last few months.
