Ran the mile race at the bison open. The race went out in 64-65 seconds for the first 400 and the pace was up and down from there. My third 400m from 800-1200 was around 68 seconds and that really hurt me overall. I was able to finish the last 400m in 65 but had too much left at the end. Overall a disappointing race even though it was my first college mile race and a PR. I know that Im in shape right now to run around 4:20 if not faster. I just need to put myself in position during the middle of the race and I know I can close fast.
