Came to the start line tired fm late work night and poor rest the night before. Plus a queesy stomach. 85 % humidity at start time. Despite that, felt pretty good at the start.Got off ok, planned to do mile 1 about 9:00 pace. About 1/4 m into it,turned right ankle bad moving to sidewalk.Finished mile 1 in 9:40 while monitoring level of pain.Worked out,dealt with h + h,got faster throughout race.Remaining 4 miles done @ 7:53 per! More than 1/2 mpm less than last years pace.
