Notes

Best run in ages! The data is a little off because I don't know the exact route we took. According to the information given at the group run: 4.45 miles and an elevation gain of 1289 ft. So run up to the Pittock, around, and then back down. It was awesome. I started out exhausted convinced I didn't want to run, but did anyway. Within ten minutes I knew it would be a killer run! The hills felt good, but definitely challenging.

Once I got up to the Pittock I needed a couple minutes of easy recovery while running around it. The second we were back on the trail heading down I just started flying! I don't know my pace, but it felt pretty dang fast. Which wouldn't surprise me because going up, those hills kept me pretty slow (time to start doing more hills and hilly trails). I cannot say enough how good that run felt! It's runs like this that make me want to run more. Taking tomorrow and Friday super easy in hopes of having a good long run (15!!!) on Saturday.

I needed an easy week, so this run was my only "workout" during the week. So glad I didn't wimp out!
