Best. Race. EVER.
Had to make two pit stops along the way - once to fix a shoelace that came undone, and once at around the halfway point because I had to take my skirt off (it kept sliding down my ass because my shorts are super-slick).
Last year when I mapped out the course it seemed to work out at about 3.2 miles, and this year the Garmin calculated it at 3.18. If that's the case, then I technically ran a <40:00 5k, which is awesome (for me), but hell, I'll take that 11 seconds over my goal considering I stopped twice. This is also the first race where we've been in the top half of the finishers instead of the bottom. Yay!
