I finally got over my mental issues around running 5k on the treadmill. I pretty much pissed and moaned to myself until my 6th lap, at which point I covered up the display on the treadmill so that I couldn't see my time and only a tiny bit of the lap display, told myself I had another 6 laps and to HTFU and run.
I'm pretty sure that I need some inserts for my shoes or a different pair, I'm really starting to feel wonky in mine, like my feet are sliding and/or pronating differently than when I first started running. Oh well, Christmas is coming.
