Started out cool and calm with overcast skies, by midway the clouds had clear and the temperatures were rising woth the humidity. At mile 7 I took a bathroom break. That two and a half minutes allowed Tom to win the race by 11 seconds. At the 10 mile mark he was almost 2 minutes ahead of me. 3 miles later I had almost erased his lead.
Never again believe his training tales. He sandbagged me the whole last three months. I won't mislead my running times on any of my sites. I will be as honest and straight forward as i have been. If my competition needs to lie to feel better so be it.
