didn't go exactly as planned, but hell, i'll take it. wanted to do 3 warmup, then 1 mile in 6:20, then 1 mile recovery, then 1 mile in sub-6. but the 4th mile was going better than expected through 800 meters, and i decided to go for it. 5:51 is the fastest since HS.
