It was a good one. I think its a bit blown out of proportion because Al said "now don't get hurt or sick" which means I caught his attention, but the only difference I made on this workout versus the last was a more intentional push in the last 250m to stay on pace, and I chased the front boys a bit.
Thats been my attitude tho, I'm in a good place to chase, so that's what I'm gonna do. Not chase stupidly and blow myself up, but to hunt from comfortable and work my way forward. I also have seen the full build up to this point, and I've built a bit of momentum. I know where I'm at and I know I want to cook a good 5k this weekend, and this workout helped me out to sharpen the ends of reps.
Personally, I thought it was an average workout, but it's what I wanted.
