Diems had a bit to say about the direction of the team, and I liked what he said more today than yesterday because yesterday seemed rooted in anger and mistrust of the team, and today was hopeful and more about rallying together. He talked about doing it for each other and used me as an example that what I do might inspire Ty or someone to qualify for nats, despite me not qualifying because I realistacally dont have a chance ( I agree ). I know it goes both ways because Caleb and Vreeke making moves on the last stretch at GVSU gave me the confidence to do it too when the time came, and Jim got me to the line ready to give it all. Now I want to get it done to give them confidence they can get it done too this week.
