Snap TM--scheduled for 8 miles w/4 at 15K-1/2 marathon pace. Did first 3 starting at 11:00 and increasing pace 30 sec per mile every half mile up to end of 3rd mile. Then 4th mile at 8:06, did not feel I could maintain, so 5th mile at 8:36, felt better, then miles 6 and 7 at 8:20, managed to hang in. Maybe could have gone a little harder but not much. Then last mile at about 10:15 pace, then walked for 10 minutes.

Would NEVER have run that hard on the road. Keep working at this running fast thing, it is pretty unfamiliar.
