Minooka Park, Trail Assail #3. Beat Susan by nearly 4 minutes, so I'm about 3:30 ahead of her cumulative time-wise. Another warm and humid day, but most hills not a big deal except the one big one in mile 3/6. A lot of the course was shaded, which helped too. Nice running surface!
Caught Susan at 2 miles rather than 3 as in the other 2 races. Hung behind her and her pal until 3 miles, when they stopped for water. I didn't want to slow down that much, so I went on ahead, trying to stay comfortable so I wouldn't die but yet keep far enough ahead to be out of sight if I possibly could. I guess she fell at some point, but said she wasn't hurt.
