OK, this worked out well. For a warmup,I walked to the top of the hill, then jogged down thru the industrial park and across onto Creekwood to the first road off of Creekwood. From there down around to the basset house and around to that first road again is a mile loop (same as the way we walk the dogs), conveniently enough, so I used 4 loops of that for the workout. I tried to keep a feeling of running loose on the downhills and steady on the uphills. Checked my watch at Basset House corner each time to get a feeling of how it was going.

This is towards the quicker end of where I could have run this, but it felt OK. Splits were to be even or not more than 10% negative, and I was about 5% negative, so that went well. Suspect my hip/groin will be sore again tomorrow; am resigned to probably spending the rest of the week inside to see if it improves so I can run this workout outside again next week. All others can be done inside w/o too much trouble, but not this one.
