Notes
Went into this thinking I would quit at 10K if it was hurting. Took the first lap VERY easy, did not do anything but cruise comfortably. Second lap I moved a little quicker going downhill but still kept the uphill very easy. Last lap I ran steady up the hills, kept moving quick going down and then in the last mile, I felt quite good still and worked progressively harder until I was just flying down Silver Spring in the last downhill. I felt very good at the end and of course wondered if I should have pushed it harder in the first 2 laps, but decided NO! It's a training run, and I get to enjoy it!
It was a beautiful cool AM, clear, about 50 degrees, no wind, not humid.
