Black Earth 10 miler
Beth I want you to warm up for this race with 2 miles easy running followed by good stretching/getting loose
Race:
We are going to try to get a strong hard effort in today Beth. This is a flat course...hopefully the wind will cooperate today :)
First 2 miles are a warm up/build to 8:30 pace..build as quickly as you are able, but make sure you listen to your body
Next 5 miles hold 8:30 pace
Last 3 miles gradually drop your pace each mile such that you finish at a 5K effort/feel...do your best Beth...finish HARD!!!!
Cool down with 2 miles easy running after the race

In keeping w/last year, very stiff wind, at our backs going out, in our faces coming back. Hid behind someone for a short distance on the way back but not enough people in a pack to do it anywhere else.
