Notes

Did about a mile easy warmup, starting w/a walk up the hill, then jogging for a while. Today's course was a 1-mile portion of the "racetrack" on top of the hill. I ran it one way, reversed, ran it the original way again and reversed again. I hit splits on my watch at each mile w/o checking the time (except for by accident at the 3-mile mark, 9:46). I'm pleased they were this even.

Suspect this might have been a bit fast for today as I did the fartlek workout yesterday and today should have been 5 miles easy, but I swapped today's and tomorrow's workouts as rain is in the forecast for tomorrow and I really have not been able to figure a way to do the out-and-back workout on the elliptical and get the sense of pacing out of it that I'm supposed to.

I did take 2 ibuprofen pre-run and felt very little discomfort in the groin/hip/low back, especially NOT noticeable in the groin. Have been lax w/rolling these last few days, have to get back on it. I'll bite the bullet for another week on the elliptical and see if I can run w/o trouble next Saturday!
