Ran w/Garmin set for 2 mins, alternated run/walk, did NOT do any long stretches, all run/walk strictly by time. Held the thought of dividing it into thirds, first third feeling easy, middle third feeling good and last third feeling like work, which worked out OK. I was really looking forward to finishing from mile 12 on but all went OK and as the splits show, I did pick it up in the later miles, which is what I had hoped to do if I felt good enough.
I'm totally happy with this for what it is and hope to do a couple long ones like this every week until I start to get in shape again.
