2.5 to 3.5 miles, goal 3. Pace 11:15 to 9:43, goal 10:20.

Kind of a cheating run, as I looked at my watch at the turnaround point and thought I had run the first half right at the wire of slowness. I purposely worked harder on the way back (altho the return trip might have been faster anyway b/c of the terrain) b/c of this, altho it turns out the first half was just fine pacewise. Nothing hurts, felt pretty good.

Ran the first 2 miles of the Maple Crest 5-miler and then turned around and came back on the same route, so on the way out, the downhill is more gentle and the climb is a little worse. Going back, MC hill allows some good coasting and the FOP hill is easier to run up. However, there was a pretty strong wind today and it was most noticeable coming back on FOP.
