Moderate paced efforts today Beth....just some race practice.
Warm up:
15 minutes gradually build to 9:00 pace
Main Set:
5x(1:00 at 8:30 pace, 1:00 at 8:15 pace, 1:00 at 8:00 pace, 2:00 back to 9:00 pace)
Do your best to feel a distinct difference between each pace...I want you to really focus on feel today...so we may practice again in the race on Friday!
Cool down:
10 minutes easy running!
*****This was really wretched, times all over the place for the 1 min segments. Asked Briana if there is a different way to approach this or what, as I felt I learned nothing about feeling different paces but only about trying frantically to adjust my pace to get the results. Am I supposed to just run what I think and then check the results later? Not sure. Will note results here when I get an answer.
