Notes

First 6 on 6-mile loop, time as noted above. Next 12 on 12-miler route, split into 2nd and 3rd six as above. I believe the 2nd 6 of the 12-miler is more downhill than the first 6. Last 6 on 6-mile loop again. Drank 10 ounces of water each loop, could have drunk more easily. Vanilla gel after first loop, 1x caffeine gel after 2nd loop, 2x caffeine gel after 3rd loop along w/one electrolyte cap after 1st and 2nd loop. Stomach feeling a little iffy during 3rd loop, continued during last loop. ASTOUNDED the last 6 was that fast.

Nothing hurt, really-a bit of discomfort in both lower inner leg/ankle areas (posterior tib tendon area) more noticeable at the beginning, but less as time went on. Now at 1 PM, not really feeling it. Planning a VERY easy week next week. Wore fat Thor Lo socks w/Adidas Adizeros and liked it quite a lot, will probably be good for the marathon. May break down and buy new Thor Lo's like I saw at REI.

Temp 66 degrees throughout and humidity 95%. Wind on and off between dead calm and 3-4 mph, but it really did not feel too bad out there.
