Ran easy--did not check my watch until the lap that was 8:15. Altho paces are still slow, I was trying to run easy and steady and that I accomplished. My foot is less sore than yesterday--started to feel it around 6 miles, same as yesterday, but then ran on the grass as much as possible and that seemed to take care of the problem.
Once I had looked at my watch, I was thinking I wanted to stay around that pace or pick up a little towards the end. As usual, once I started looking at the time, I started thinking about the time and I went gradually faster. Last lap is purposely faster.
