Vestal XX Road Race, Vestal, NY. 20k of hard hills, humidity and bright sunshine. Kathrine Switzer ran the inaugural Vestal XX in 1971 and was back to run the 40th anniversary race. Really cool! I won her book, "Marathon Woman", as an award and she signed it for me too! Course PR for me, and a great day all around!
