Much better run than Thursday's 8 miler. 1st six miles were solid & comfortable so I decided to shoot for the 17 miles on the schedule.. Felt pretty good the entire distance, but took it very conservatively just to be on the safe side. Legs did get a little tired during miles 12 and 13, but just pushed through it & felt better from mile 14 to the end. Was able to maintain a pretty consistent pace & effort for the entire distance. Plus I did have some extra left at the end & was able to push a little harder the last mile and a half. Pedestals with leg lifts x 2, Cannonball routine & leg circuit exercises after the run.
