Had a tough time adjusting to the conditions. which weren't terrible but far from ideal. Way the course was laid out the wind was a negative factor for more than half the miles. Did not feel at all comfortable for almost the first four and a half miles. That said I did run this race by effort and despite the early struggles was very consistent in the middle miles and had enuf left at the end to pick up the pace, despite being pretty fatigued, the last two miles.
