Overall an o.k. run, but pace portion was far short of target. Conditions weren't great --wind wasn't excessively strong, but a factor & combined with the low temp, I had a hard time keeping my legs from tightening up whenever I stopped to take a gel or hydrate. Mostly, I didn't have another gear today. I felt like I was pushing hard from mile 6 on & had a good turnover, but pace stayed right in the 9:50s. Pedestal routine with leg lifts x 2, Cannonball routine, & leg circuit exercises after the run. Pedestals & exercise routines were good.
