Again had to run this on Monday because of work & holiday schedules. Overall a very difficult workout. Felt very strong during the 2.5 mile warm up & that continued into the first two lactate threshold miles. The last two LT miles were very much a struggle. I had to take a couple of short breaks to hydrate and recompose myself but I was able to maintain the LT pace and a steady turnover when I resumed. The 2.5 mile cool down actually felt really easy after running the four very hard miles. Overall much better than the last LT run and should be the last hard run in the evening after a full work day.
