Well executed fast finish long run. 1st 9 miles were relaxed and comfortable. Had to fight through a gusty wind at times, but kept the effort steady and controlled for the entire nine miles. At mile 10, kicked it into "half marathon" effort and pace naturally came down at that effort. By the start of mile 2 of the fast finish portion, I was cruising comfortably hard. Felt very strong for the entire 3 mile fast finish portion. Did have a little discomfort with about a half mile to go, but just kept my cadence and stride steady to the end of the run. Felt I could've run a couple of more miles at that pace & effort. Did the full set of post run exercises.
