By far the best I've run these intervals during this training period. Felt strong with very easy speed during all five reps. Ran the first rep conservatively with cadence in the mid-180s. Then got stronger as I progressed through the reps, increasing turnover to low 190s for reps 2 through 5. Last four reps were extremely consistent with no straining to maintain effort or pace. Recoveries were all 2 laps jogs & at under 2 minutes each, about a half minute shorter than last week's interval workout. Still felt very strong after last interval. Averaged 8:06 pace for all five reps, even with the conservative first interval & was right at the 8:00/mile pace for each of the last four intervals.
