3/4 mile intervals alternated with 2 lap recoveries. Intervals were solid and well executed. Ran first interval pretty conservatively and was a little slow for first half mile, but had plenty left to push hard the last quarter mile. Was several seconds faster at the half mile mark of the 2nd interval and was able to maintain that pace through the final quarter.
3rd interval had the fastest time at the half mile and again pretty much maintained that pace & effort through the final quarter. Was a little slower at the half mile mark in final interval, but had enough left to push the pace & effort harder during the last quarter. Overall I ran the first half miles hard, but controlled, which left me with enough to increased the effort & pace another notch during the final quarters.
