Another really solid race. Lots of runners and congestion early in the race so the first half mile was much slower than I had planned. But once I got some open space, I picked up the effort and pace and ran consistently hard for the final 2 1/2 miles. A little wind & a little more upgrade in mile 3 so it was slightly slower than mile 2, but the effort was very consistent. Once I turned out of the wind with about 2/3rds of a mile to go, I was able to kick in another gear. Had a really good kick at the finish despite feeling some fatigue & discomfort. I definitely built on my previous 5k and the half marathon.
