Somewhat surprising workout.

I wanted the miles to be between 7:10-7:15 so I still have no idea regarding pacing but after the first I decided to just hold the pace for as long as I could. The second repeat took a lot out of me as it was into the wind but the time was still quick so I went with it. Third repeat was probably the easiest one as I was fully amped up with a decent wind at my back. I came close to calling it after three but wanted to finish it and figured a 7:15 was still achievable even if the wind was intimidating. The half-mile jog between sets was okay after the first but mostly walking after that.

I'm very happy with the consistent splits and this was obviously faster than intended so that's okay. Beautiful day for a run and it was great seeing all the peeps out enjoying the weather.

Today felt a lot closer to wherever it is I'm heading.
