Notes
The half-marathon course was shortened to 6.5 miles because of dangerous weather. Yeah, I still ran. So did about 500 other people. It was -40 at times with windchill and we ran along the Mississippi so the wind was whipping off the frozen river. It was a lot of fun in a weird way. It was a tough course, you dropped the entire elevation right off the bat and then climbed to the turn around point and had to finish on that hill. I suck on hills anyway and I hit this one with a splat and stuck. I think only the diehard runners came out for this one because it was a very fast field, despite running a PR at this distance on a tough course, I finished 190th. I will definitly do this race every year, ha, I doubt it could be any colder. Now ten inches of snow is a real possibility.
