Notes

Hit my goal of sub 1:30! Somehow went 0.1 long so thank goodness I had put a little time in the bank. Went out pretty much at pace, slightly under. First loop felt great, legs felt good, breathing easy. Next 3 miles to bridge into the wind, pace started to fade a little, at 8 miles legs starting to feel it, left hip and left foot starting to act up. Saw EJ on the bridge at about 10, so that gave me a nice boast, thanks EJ! I needed that. I was running with this guy and woman, at top of bridge asked the guy if he we had to pick it up for the last 3, let's work together. Feeling it pretty bad with 3 to go, but there's no way I'm backing off now after those long runs I put in. Decided I was going to pick it up with 2 to go bc my Garmin is hitting miles a little before the mile markers. Hit 2 and tried to speed up, could really only get my pace to 6:30-6:40. Feeling it with a mile to go, but nowhere near the pain level of the 5k, so I'm feeling confident I can hold my pace. Tried to pick it up for the final surge entering the ballpark. See the clock, holy crap, 1:29:50, this is way too close. Surge through the finish. Don't know how I added another 0.1, bc I made sure I ran on the inside and even ran tangents more so than most. Great run for me, great conditions. Did it at ~160, so would like to run another one at 150?
