Ran the first 5 miles at just under 8 min/mile. Pretty good after doing 9.3 miles yesterday in the muddy, hilly CRUD. After the 5 miles I slowed to about a 9:30 pace for .25 miles and then ditched my shoes for .25 miles at a 10:18 pace. I then walked another .25 miles home barefoot. Not a bad morning run if you ask me.
